Tony Dantzman is Still Missing

$5,000.00 Reward

01

circumstances

89-year-old Tony Dantzman, a Korean War veteran now with dementia, disappeared from Winter Wisconsin over Labor Day Weekend after walking away from the motel he was staying at with his daughter and son-in-law during a trip to attend a family reunion.

Footage from motel security cameras show Tony walking away from the room, and in subsequent searches, dogs followed his scent to a nearby highway. Authorities think Tony might have been picked up by a passing vehicle.

Tony is a widower and his dementia has grown worse since his wife passed away, so he spoke often of getting married again and often approached women to ask if they were single.

About tony Dantzman

Tony grew up on a farm near Winter WI that his parents bought in 1919. The extended family was celebrating that 100th anniversary with a reunion, which is why Tony was in Winter.

After growing up in northern Wisconsin, Tony joined the Merchant Marines and was based in Duluth Minnesota working on the Great Lakes. Then he joined the Marine Corps and served in Korea.

After leaving the service, Tony followed his oldest brother to Medford Oregon, where he worked as a logger and dance instructor. He settled in Crescent City in northern California for better logging job opportunities and eventually became a home builder.
