“We had Saf-T-Flo injectors installed on some recent upgrades by a contractor. We noticed our ammonia injectors were scaling and would become clogged within a few weeks. Due to the hard water in Southern California and low feed rate of the ammonia, Saf-T-Flo recommended we use their SAF-T-Seal tip. We swapped our quills for new ones that included the elastomeric tip and began noticing a decrease in scale formation. We continued to inspect them periodically and eventually moved our inspection intervals from every 2 weeks to every 6 months.”

“I contacted Saf-T-Flo looking to standardize our injectors across all of our well sites. We had accumulated a variety of different manufactured injectors over the years. “We reached out to Saf-T-Flo because we didn’t trust the restraint system of the current injectors we were using. Extracting sodium hypochlorite injectors from a pressurized pipe can be stressful. Saf-T-Flo’s limit chain system comes preset to the length of the quill; unlike the ones we were using that had multiple loops on a wire. Since our change, maintenance has become much easier and safer.”
